Building the future of spatial intelligence
Airfree Group was founded on a single conviction: that the most important decisions governments and enterprises make are decisions about land, infrastructure, and place — and that those decisions deserve technology built with the same rigour as the challenges they address.
Mission
Spatial intelligence for a sovereign world
To design and operate the world's most capable spatial intelligence infrastructure — empowering governments to govern their land and enterprises to operate their assets with accuracy, security, and full data sovereignty.
Vision
Every place on Earth, understood in real time
A world where every government has a living digital twin of its jurisdiction, every parcel of land is accurately recorded and verifiable, and every decision about infrastructure is backed by real-time, trusted spatial intelligence.
Our values
Precision
Spatial data is only useful when it is accurate. Every product we ship is held to sub-metre accuracy and scientific reproducibility standards.
Trust
Governments and enterprises entrust us with critical national infrastructure. We earn and protect that trust through transparency, auditability, and security.
Innovation
We invest deeply in R&D — our research teams push the boundaries of spatial AI, earth observation, and sovereign cloud before they ship as products.
Scale
Our platforms are engineered from day one for planetary scale — millions of parcels, petabytes of imagery, and thousands of concurrent government users.
Sovereignty
Data belongs to the nations and organisations that create it. We architect every deployment to respect jurisdictional data residency without compromise.
Our story
From Sydney, built for the world
Seven years of building infrastructure engineered for governments' most critical spatial data.
2017
Founded in Sydney
Airfree Group incorporated in New South Wales with a founding team of geospatial engineers and cloud architects from Australia's federal mapping agencies.
2019
Enterprise GIS platform
Brought the national cadastral platform to enterprise grade — our first GIS engineered for deployment at government scale.
2020
Regional deployment model
Extended the platform's deployment model for the Pacific and South-East Asia, with sovereign cloud options designed for Pacific Island and ASEAN governments.
2021
Airfree Geospatial & Maps launched
Launched the Airfree Geospatial Platform and Airfree Maps as standalone products, bringing enterprise GIS and 3D mapping to commercial and public-sector use.
2022
Spatial AI research pipeline
Established the spatial AI and earth observation research pipeline, designed for collaboration with Australian universities and the national space agency.
2023
Digital Infrastructure portfolio
Launched Airfree Clouds and Airfree Mail, completing our integrated digital infrastructure stack from sovereign cloud to enterprise communications.
2024
East Africa & Middle East focus
Extended the platform's target markets to East Africa and the Middle East, built for national land registration modernisation programmes.
Leadership
