Platform 5.2 brings survey-grade positioning to the Airfree Geospatial platform, with sub-centimetre GNSS post-processing and real-time correction from continuously operating reference stations.
Airfree today released version 5.2 of the Airfree Geospatial Platform, adding survey-grade satellite positioning to its core engine. The release introduces sub-centimetre GNSS post-processing and real-time correction streams sourced from networks of continuously operating reference stations (CORS).
Survey-grade positioning, integrated
Field crews and autonomous systems can now stream RTK corrections directly from the platform and log raw observations for later post-processing, all within the same environment that already manages cadastre, imagery, and analysis. The survey-computation engine resolves ambiguities and produces adjusted coordinates with full accuracy metadata.
- Real-time kinematic (RTK) corrections over standard NTRIP.
- Post-processed kinematic and static baselines with least-squares network adjustment.
- Full accuracy and datum metadata attached to every computed position.
Why it matters
Bringing GNSS processing into the platform closes the loop between field measurement and authoritative record. A boundary re-establishment or asset survey can move from raw observation to validated parcel or asset update without leaving the Airfree environment or exporting to a separate desktop package.
Upgrade path
Platform 5.2 is a drop-in upgrade for existing deployments. The new positioning services are enabled per tenant and integrate with the existing single sign-on and role-based access controls. Technical details are available through the Airfree developer documentation.
