Survey-grade precision is non-negotiable. We validate against national control networks and never cut corners on datum transformations, coordinate reference systems, or boundary tolerances.
Privacy by design
No advertising. No data brokering. Customer data stays in your chosen region. We are working towards ISO 27001 and SOC 2 Type II certification and publish our security posture publicly.

Origins
Founded in Sydney
Airfree set out to build the open geospatial platform its founders wished existed — an alternative to closed and expensive GIS tooling.

Cadastre engine
Built the cadastre engine — real-time parcel validation and automated DCDB integration — as an alternative to the decade-old monoliths agencies rely on.
Security
Security and data residency
Began ISO 27001 preparation and built out multi-region data residency, in support of the enterprise-grade security the organisations that hold land records require.
AI
AI-powered cadastre reconciliation
Built AI-powered cadastre reconciliation and OGC API Features support, enabling automated detection of title inconsistencies designed to scale to national parcel sets.
