Configuring your email client with IMAP

Connect Apple Mail, Outlook, Thunderbird, or a mobile client to Airfree Clouds over IMAP.

Any standards-compliant mail client connects to Airfree Clouds over IMAP for incoming mail and SMTP for outgoing. Use an app password rather than your account password so you can revoke a single device without changing your login.

Server settings

IMAP: imap.airfreeclouds.com, port 993, SSL/TLS.
SMTP: smtp.airfreeclouds.com, port 465, SSL/TLS.
Username: your full email address.
Password: an app password generated in Email → Security.

If autodiscovery fails

Most clients configure themselves from just your address and app password. If yours does not, enter the servers above manually and choose SSL/TLS (not STARTTLS) on both ports.

Generate a separate app password per device. Losing a phone then means revoking one password, not resetting your account.
