Our commitment

Airfree Clouds Pty Ltd is committed to ensuring that our website, control panel, and webmail interface are accessible to everyone, including people with disabilities. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA across all our digital services.

Accessibility is an ongoing effort. We review our services regularly and prioritise accessibility fixes in our development roadmap.

Conformance status

We partially conform to WCAG 2.2 Level AA. Partial conformance means that some parts of the content do not fully conform to the standard. The known limitations are listed below.

Known limitations and planned fixes

DNS zone editor — keyboard navigation

WCAG 2.1.1 Keyboard

The drag-and-drop reorder controls in the DNS zone editor are not fully keyboard accessible. Users must use a mouse to reorder records.

File picker in Drive — screen reader announcement

WCAG 4.1.3 Status Messages

When a file upload completes in Airfree Drive, the success status message is not announced by screen readers that are not focused on the upload area.

ARIA live region fix planned for Q3 2026.

Colour contrast — disabled form controls

WCAG 1.4.3 Contrast (Minimum)

Some disabled button and input states in the control panel have a contrast ratio slightly below 3:1 in light mode.

Design token update planned for Q4 2026.

Technical approach

We use the following technologies to meet our accessibility target:

  • Semantic HTML5 elements (nav, main, article, section, header, footer)
  • WAI-ARIA landmarks and roles where native HTML is insufficient
  • Keyboard focus management with visible focus indicators on all interactive elements
  • Colour contrast ratios meeting WCAG 2.2 AA (4.5:1 for normal text, 3:1 for large text and UI components)
  • Responsive design that works at 200% browser text zoom without loss of content
  • All non-text content has a text alternative
  • prefers-reduced-motion media query respected throughout

Our services are tested against the following combinations:

  • Chrome 125+ with NVDA (Windows)
  • Firefox 126+ with NVDA (Windows)
  • Safari 17+ with VoiceOver (macOS and iOS)
  • Edge 125+ with NVDA (Windows)
  • Chrome for Android with TalkBack
