How to transfer a domain to Airfree Clouds

Move a domain from another registrar to Airfree Clouds without losing your website or email.

Transferring a domain moves its registration to Airfree Clouds while keeping your website and email working throughout. The process is standardised across registrars, so it is mostly a matter of unlocking and authorising.

Before you start

Unlock the domain at your current registrar.
Request the authorisation (EPP) code — it is your proof of ownership.
Make sure the domain is at least 60 days old and not within 60 days of a previous transfer.

Starting the transfer

In Airfree Clouds, go to Domains → Transfer, enter the domain and the authorisation code, and confirm. You will receive a confirmation email; approving it starts the clock. Transfers typically complete within five to seven days, and your DNS and email keep running the whole time.

Copy your existing DNS records into Airfree DNS before the transfer completes so nothing changes for your visitors at cutover.
