Why is my email going to spam?
The usual causes when your outgoing mail lands in recipients’ spam folders — and how to fix them.
When your outgoing mail lands in spam, the cause is almost always authentication or reputation, not the words in your message.
Check these first
- SPF, DKIM, and DMARC are published and passing for your domain.
- Your domain is not brand new (new domains are treated cautiously for a while).
- You are not sending bulk mail from a personal mailbox without a proper list setup.
- The DMARC aggregate reports do not show failures from your own sends.
The blog guide on SPF, DKIM, and DMARC has the exact records and how to verify them.
