Import from Gmail

Bring your Gmail messages, contacts, and calendars into Airfree Mail with the built-in importer.

The Gmail importer copies your existing mail, contacts, and calendars into Airfree Mail without you touching a settings file. Your Gmail account is left untouched, so you can run both in parallel while you switch.

How to run it

Open Settings → Import & Export → Import from Gmail.
Authorise read access when Google prompts you.
Choose what to bring: mail, contacts, calendars, or all three.
Leave it running — large mailboxes import in the background and notify you when done.

After importing

Once the import completes, set up mail forwarding in Gmail (or switch your MX records for a custom domain) so new mail arrives in Airfree Mail. Labels are imported as folders; filters are not carried over and should be recreated.
